Let’s improve if we can..if we can’t, let’s just try not to go insane.

I think many of us are afraid to admit that we’ve enjoyed a slower pace of life. If you’re in the UK that means nice walks outside, sitting in the garden with a book or just simply not rushing to a clock every minute of every day.

Now-it’s definitely too slow for most of us, but maybe there is something really strong to be take away from the flu’s ugly cousin Covid 19:

Commutes waste an awful lot of our day.
If work is slower, it allows time for us to improve and develop professionally…not just to survive.
Work should allow more time for development day to day.
We weren’t spending enough time with our families.
We were horribly sleep deprived.
We were tired.
We were thinner than we are now (!)
We really could exercise at home and didn’t need that expensive gym membership.
We probably could have fit in that 20 min HIIT workout before work.
We were happier than we realised.
We were inefficient in how we worked.
That we should have been living in lounge wear all our lives.
That humans can be a little ignorant in thinking that we were king of the jungle (said in purposeful past tense.)

It’s not easy. If you’re like me-you have good days, great days and days were you are exceptionally fed up.

So let’s try to improve and learn from this. And if you can’t or just don’t see it. Just try to keep your sanity at least-it won’t be forever.
