Happy nurses day to all!
Whilst the government are busy ensuring more consultants are available evenings and weekends they continue to take valuable nursing staff away from the wards.
Who keeps you alive around the clock when in hospital? Who comforts you when you are scared? Who checks up on the doctors prescribing? Who administers medications safely?
In a word, our nursing staff are ‘priceless.’
Thank you to all the nurses I have ever worked with teaching me, supporting me and doing exactly the same for our patients and their relatives.
