Doctors are performers

They make you believe (or they should) that they are not frightened or scared, or in pain at your situation. Sometimes a death can remind them of someone they lost in a similar situation.
They ‘act’ to encourage you to make the right decisions with your life, when they don’t always make the right decisions in their own.

And this suits me. Deep down, I was desperate to perform. I dreamed of being an international singing sensation. Only I realised I could not sing well enough and my ability to pitch a note was shocking. So I took to the books and took to performing about life and clinically related matters.

A few days ago I decided, why not make dreams come true. For approximately 2 minutes 25 seconds, I became a non-medical performer at my wedding. Bye bye Dr B, and hello a few seconds of pretend stardom.
