Dance For Your Life…

Talking to my good friend Dr Zainab yesterday, I said – Zainab, if you weren’t a doctor, what would you like to do?

She said-well I would love to be professional belly dancer.

And why not? Dancing makes so many people feel amazing! If you can get over the initial embarrassment or feelings of unease, getting those hips swinging to the music can cause a surge in adrenaline (making you feel fantastic,) keep your joints mobile and loose, burn some calories in the process (think Zumba and hip hop fitness classes) as well as be a great way to have fun with friends.

Those that dance regularly have been found to live longer lives. So dance for your life and paaaaarrty.

Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to be boring.
